Section 1 of the course covers recognizing conflict and its types, understanding conflict and its stages, identifying sources of conflict, and recognizing signs of conflict through a case study. It also includes communicative strategies for conflict resolution, such as the art of effective communication, active listening, and the role of non-verbal communication. Additionally, it covers conflict resolution techniques and models, such as the Thomas Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument and Fisher and Ury’s BATNA concept. The course also provides strategies for managing team conflict and building consensus, as well as reflective practice for conflict resolution.

This section covers recognizing conflict and its types, communicative strategies for conflict resolution, conflict resolution techniques and models, managing team conflict and building consensus, and reflective practice for conflict resolution. Topics include understanding conflict, identifying sources and stages of conflict, effective communication, conflict resolution models, and reflective practice for conflict resolution.
