Section 1 of the course covers the understanding of stress and its impact, including the biological and emotional consequences of stress, common sources and triggers of stress in the dental setting, and a personal stress audit exercise.

Section 2

This course covers the impact of stress on our bodies and emotions, common sources and triggers of stress in the dental setting, and communication skills for de-escalating stressful situations. It also includes practical de-escalation strategies, mindfulness and resilience techniques, and long-term stress management and support for dental professionals.

Section 3

Section 3 of this course covers communication skills for stress management, practical de-escalation strategies, and mindfulness, resilience, and emotional intelligence techniques. It emphasizes the importance of effective communication in deescalating stressful situations and defines key concepts and principles of de-escalation. It also covers conflict resolution strategies for dental professionals and the role of teamwork in stressful situations.
