It also includes evaluating evidence in dental practice, understanding evidence-based practice, grading the quality of evidence, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and an exercise for evaluating a piece of evidence. Additionally, it covers incorporating research into clinical practice including overcoming barriers, evidence-based dentistry, and a scenario-based exercise. Lastly, it addresses the impact of research on quality in dental nursing practice, research ethics in dental practice, a case study for improving practice, and reflective practice with a course summary for ensuring quality in dental nursing through research.
